With over five years of experience in the field of Media and Communications, I am here at Delightful Communications to use my skills to create content that will help my target audience take necessary actions to reach their end goal. My positive attitude, dedication to work and ownership mentality are some of the traits that have helped me gain success in my previous roles and I am confident that these traits will help me be successful as a Digital Marketing Specialist.

Delightful Wins Another Marketing Award for IoT in Action with Microsoft Event Campaign

They say lightning doesn’t strike twice, which is why we thought THREE times about submitting another campaign to the Content Marketing Institute Awards after our Majestic in Space win last year. Are we good enough for another award, we thought? Have we really done anything to match 3D printing the internet on the International Space Station, we pondered?

After much cogitation, we submitted an entry anyway.

So, imagine our utter joy when we were notified late last week that the work we have been doing with Microsoft on the IoT in Action event series has been so well regarded that we’ve won an industry gong from the CMI for the Best Integrated Corporate Event (in-person)/Digital Content Strategy

As a new member of the Delightful Team, I am ecstatic to bring my marketing savvy and passion for storytelling to my new role of Digital Marketing Specialist.

Meet Kate – Our New Delightful Team Member

I am the newest member of the Delightful Team and, as the Digital Marketing Program Manager, I will be working with clients and online influencers, providing strategic support and content to amplify their personal and professional brands.

Organic — It’s not just for groceries.

I’m a University of Washington alum (Go Dawgs!) from the Master of Science in Information Management program where I focused on user experience and content strategy. Under the mentorship of the talented professors there I found a home with digital content. I was fortunate to capitalize on these skills with a large variety of client work as both a contractor and agency marketer here in Seattle.

4 Marketing Strategies Businesses Can Learn From a House Remodel

We remodeled our house in Seattle a couple of years ago. It was quite a large job which included replacing the roof, furnace, windows, doors, floors, and adding a new kitchen and bathroom. In all we needed 8 specialist contractors to do the work and we needed it done quickly. While early summer is not the best time to request bids as it’s a busy time in the lives of contractors, I was amazed by some of these businesses lack of communication and marketing strategies.

Channeling my frustration into some lessons learned, here are 4 of my takeaways from an experience that EVENTUALLY has helped us renovate a home we love living in.

Welcome Joanna Mendoza to the Delightful Team!

In June, Delightful Communications welcomed me as the newest addition to the team!

I am taking on the role of Digital Marketing & PR Assistant and I am thrilled to work with this wonderful team.

A graduate fresh from Seattle University, I majored in Marketing and minored in Entrepreneurship.

One of the greatest learnings from my time at the Albers School of Business was to stay value-driven and committed to advancing the common good. That’s why, when I saw this role advertised, Delightful Communications’ mission to build brilliant brands through people really resonated with me.

In past experiences, I have gleaned a lot of insight into the importance of creating a positive and strong impression with others. In my education, I acquired values and training which supports this. In my past roles, I have learned about the importance of team work, competition, sustainability, and delighting customers.
