As we have had such an amazing response to the book we published on Amazon in January, we have and will continue to put the message out there for Personal Branding.
It’s relevant, practical, and imperative in today’s digital age. But beyond that, it is fun, internally and externally rewarding, and invaluable to the individual pursuing and aiming to fulfill their professional purpose daily.
And here is my favorite part: others are beginning to understand what all the commotion is about too.

After releasing our book, Introduction to Personal Branding, a few months ago, we’ve received profoundly positive feedback.
Mentioned in both the Financial Times’ piece Personal Brands Turn Up the Volume and PR Daily’s Why personal branding should matter to PR pros, featured as one of six must-read career advice books on AlexaJobs blog, and reviewed by Bas van den Beld on State of Digital in Introduction to Personal Branding: 10 Steps Toward a New Professional You – Book Review, we are beyond thrilled with its reception.
The individual testimonials are also of particular interest. Global Marketing Strategy Consultant, Bill Hunt, tells his authentic story in Is your Lack of a Well Managed Personal Brand Hurting You?, and Tim Baynes offers his generous thoughts in Making it Personal: Rock Start to Wallflower on Say It In 7.
Such uncovering’s have lead way to momentum for me and Team Delightful too. More speaking gigs, more clients (more this year alone than in the whole of last year), and more workshops, etc. – the rest of 2016 is going to be busy!
And while all of the encouraging feedback is most appreciated from a personal and business perspective, all of this also tells me that Personal Branding is beginning to take off and make a real difference in people lives. A REAL DIFFERENCE and gaining traction. The aha moments are ringing true.
And this is just the beginning.
What you can expect next from us here at Delightful is capturing how we tie the concept and actions together with influencer marketing and employee advocacy. It starts with the individual, and we aim to continue to help make brands (and people) brilliant through our work companies large and small!
